Daily Standard Web Site of the Day 10.1.09

tonyChester-com.jpg

Welcome to Tony's World...

A simple and oh-so-well done concept site with a few tricks up it's sleeve; including jQuery ajax working it's magic. The main layout sepia-toned urban perspective background, looks like a street scene in a Gatorade commercial, that draws you in to Tony's shadow-boxed world.

You've got to love Tony, and for the record I don't think naming a jQuery script after yourself is one bit over the top, especially since it's the ultra-cool script providing all that delicous fade-in interaction and partially what makes this site such a gemological study of the rock star web designers' kind. Be sure to give Tony a shout via one of the many social icon css-sprite linkage bits while you're stopping by, or do what I did and fill-in the form that toggles in to view.

Say hey to everybody down there in the Carolina's for me then Tony, oh and nice job on the site by the way. It's really rockstar web design work.

-TC & jQuery Ajax fan club member :)

Tony shared with me that the site was a team effort with lead web designer Corey Brinkmann and code guru, John O'Nolan providing the chops, and Tony inspiring creative direction and the slick ajax-iness wishlist to complete this www.onwired.com in-house project.
